On-site research appointments can be scheduled between the hours of 9am and 5pm by calling the Photo Archive at 406-994-5280 or emailing the archive curator at sjackson@montana.edu. On-site research appointments must be made in advance. The museum address is 600 West Kagy Blvd. and is located on the south edge of Montana State University-Bozeman next to the football stadium.

On-site archive researchers can access the collection using subject, biographical, and geographical cross-referenced files. Off-site requests for subject, biographical, or geographical searches conducted by archive staff are conducted only if staff time allows.
