The Board of Regents of the Montana University System have been authorized by legislative action to levy fines against students, faculty, and staff for violation of parking, traffic, or registration regulations.

If you commit any violation listed on this page, it will cost you $20 - $125.

Additional Fines
All moving violations will be prosecuted in city or county courts.
Failure to pay the fine by the date specified on the citation will constitute a second offense subject to an additional $5.00 fine.
Use of a lost, stolen or counterfeit permit $125.00 fine

Habitual Offenders:
Any person who commits three violations of any University Parking regulations in a 12-month period, may thereupon lose the privilege to park any motor vehicle on the University campus for a period of six months. Any vehicles owned by, registered to, or operated by a person who has lost his/her privilege to park on campus may be subject to immediate removal.
