Hello from the School Director
At MSU, the only top-tier research university in a four-state region, music plays a very special role
in the lives of both our students and our faculty. Our music, music education, and music technology
degrees offer great choices for music majors, and our fifteen performing ensembles and a wide array
of courses provide opportunities for majors, minors and non-majors. Many engineering, science, business,
humanities, education and fine arts majors find their musical home here in the School of Music.
