Northwest Horn Symposium 2013 Scholarships
There are various scholarship opportunities available to students seeking funding to help cover the costs of participation in the Northwest Horn Symposium.
Northwest Horn Society Scholarship
Will reimburse full registration fee to a selected High School and College Student.
To apply, please submit a one-page essay describing why you are deserving of financial aid as well as one letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor (private, youth symphony, ensemble, etc.). Please e-mail your materials by April 1, 2013 to the chair of the scholarship committee, Kathleen Farner, at farnerkv@comcast.net.
Barry Tuckwell Scholarship
This is an award that is given by the International Horn Society to cover costs of up to $500 for the attendance of a workshop or symposium. Visit www.hornsociety.org for more information.
