Genevieve Burcham Memorial Scholarship
NAME OF SCHOLARSHIP: Genevieve Burcham Memorial Scholarship
PURPOSE OF SCHOLARSHIP:
A scholarship fund set up by Genevieve Burcham’s son, Thomas F. Burcham,
and daughter, Judy L. Kunkel. The trust is administered by the MSU-Bozeman
Foundation.
NUMBER OF AWARDS: One (This scholarship is awarded bi-annually;
rotates with the Montana Deaconess Alumni Scholarship)
VALUE: Varies based on interest accrued
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Recipients must be a full-time student at Montana State University-Bozeman
College of Nursing from Cascade County
- Recipients must have a minimum of second semester junior standing
- Recipients must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or better
- Indicate an interest in the Maternal Child area of nursing
NOMINATED BY: Students will be nominated by the Maternal
Child Nursing Faculty
SELECTED BY: College of Nursing Scholarship Committee
APPROXIMATE NOMINATION DEADLINE: November
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
The CON is no longer able to maintain contact with the donors. Letters to both Thomas E. Burcham and Judy L. Kunkel have been returned with no forwarding address.
The Associate Dean’s Office is responsible for processing the Scholarship Authorization Form.
