Mary Johnson Mattfeldt Scholarship
NAME OF SCHOLARSHIP: Mary Johnson Mattfeldt Scholarship
PURPOSE OF SCHOLARSHIP:
A scholarship fund established by Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson in memory of their
daughter, Mary Johnson Mattfeldt, who died of cancer during her sophomore year
in the nursing curriculum. The trust is administered by the Montana State University
Foundation.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Recipient should be a nursing student*, placed in upper division by the College
of Nursing, who demonstrates a sincere interest in the Montana State Nurses'
Association (MSNA) as well as has leadership potential. Recipient’s name
is engraved on the memorial plaque permanently on display in Sherrick Hall.

Nurses’ Association (MSNA) and its faculty advisor.
SELECTED BY: The College of Nursing Scholarship Committee
