Frances Thomas Scholarship
NAME OF SCHOLARSHIP: Frances Thomas Scholarship
PURPOSE OF SCHOLARSHIP:
A $1000 was donated by Col. Frances Thomas for a scholarship to be given to
a second or third year student in the BSN program. The scholarship money has
been placed in the CON Memorial and Scholarship Program account at the Foundation.
NUMBER OF AWARDS: One
VALUE: $1000
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: The award to be based on the following criteria
in this order:
- Recipients must show potential.
- Recipients must show a financial need
- Based on academic achievement
NOMINATED / SELECTED BY: The
College of Nursing Scholarship Committee
APPROXIMATE NOMINATION DEADLINE: Mid-December
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
The student is notified of the award and the donor is thanked by the Scholarship
Committee and the student. The Associate Dean's Office is responsible
for processing the Scholarship Authorization Form. Copies of all correspondence
to the recipient and donor should be sent to Bozeman for the central scholarship
files.
