Please note:
- Essays are required. Please submit an essay that includes each of the following criteria:
- What is nursing’s biggest challenge today from your viewpoint
- Your financial need
- Something unique about you
- List 2-3 other attributes or achievements
Essays can be no longer than one page in 12 point font. Please make sure that you read the criteria for each scholarship carefully as some individual scholarships have its own essay criteria that need to be addressed. Also, some of the scholarships are selected by faculty recommendation and need to have the faculty recommendation form completed and attached.
- Interested students should fill out one application and turn it in to the campus representative along with their essay, student involvement log, and transcript (can be unofficial). Faculty will review your application materials and nominate students for a specific scholarship based on the student’s credentials and demographics. The material should be submitted in the following order:
- Scholarship Application (1 only)
- Essay (1 only unless you are submitting an application for a scholarship with specific essay requirements other than those listed above)
- Student Involvement Log (1 only)
- Transcript (1 only)
- Recipients of the scholarships will be determined in March. Only recipients will be notified by mail if they have received a scholarship
- Receiving a scholarship may affect students’ financial aid. Please notify the Financial Aid department at 994-2845 if you have any questions.
