MSU Extension bulletin
#EB 160
from the Montana State University Extension Service

August 2002

Often the most damaging and long-lasting impact of a wildfire takes the
form of post-fire invasion and aggressive reestablishment of noxious weeds.

This book, which was written with land owners and managers in mind, tells how to manage burned areas by enhancing desired species while eradicating or
controlling noxious weeds.

The Montana State University Extension Service is an educational resource dedicated to improving the quality of people's lives by providing research-based knowledge to strengthen the social, economic and environmental well-being of families, communities and agricultural enterprises.
