MSU's partner university, Al Akhawayn University (AUI) in Ifrane, Morocco, would like to pursue increased staff exchange activity between MSU and AUI for semester or academic year programs. Below is a current listing of vacant positions at AUI which are available for MSU faculty consideration. AUI is interested in filling these positions either permanently through hiring or temporarily through exchanges with partner universities. If you have colleagues in appropriate disciplines who might be interested in a position at AUI, please feel free to share this with them.

1. English Composition/Rhetoric, Assistant Professor or Instructor
   Position requirements: Evidence of commitment to teaching college composition and communication; scholarship in composition and rhetoric expected. Experience in computer assisted instruction.
   Duties: Teach writing courses in English at various levels; help with Writing Center activities.
2. Psychology, Assistant or Associate Professor (specialization open)
   Position requirements: Doctoral degree in history and previous teaching experience.
   Duties: Teach the following courses: Introduction to Psychology, Human Relations Skills, and Social/Organizational Psychology. Other duties may include teaching Research Methodology and an introductory course in Human Resources Development.
3. Arab World History/Islamic Civilization, Assistant or Associate Professor
   Position requirements: Doctoral degree in history and previous college teaching experience.
   Duties: Teach courses in Arab World History and introductory courses for History of Islam and Islamic Civilization.
4. Contemporary World History, Assistant or Associate Professor
   Position requirements: Doctoral degree in history and previous college teaching experience.
   Duties: Teach courses in Contemporary World History since the age of European expansion and other courses related to the field.
5. Human Resources Development, Assistant or Associate Professor
   Position requirements: Doctoral degree and previous college teaching experience; practical experience desired.
   Duties: Teach undergraduate courses in Introduction to Human Resources Development, Professional Development, and Organizational Skills.
6. Professional Communication/Media Studies, Assistant or Associate Professor
   Position requirements: Doctoral degree in communication studies and previous college teaching experience; practical experience desired. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the setting up and launching of the program in Communication Studies.
   Duties: Teach courses in the fields of Speech Communication, Professional Communication, Technical Communication, and Media Studies.
