I graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs , in 1997 with a B.A. in psychology under the guidance of Tom Pyszczynski and Kelli J. Klebe I received my MS and PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Utah , under the advisement of Carol Sansone and Paul H White . My first faculty position was at the Ohio State University , where I spent four years working with great people such as Robert Arkin and Kathleen Fuegen . However, I have always been spoiled by Mother Nature, from my hometown amid the sunny beaches of Southern California, to the bracelet of purple mountains in Colorado and Utah, thus it wasn't too long before I wanted to return back to the mountain west and I landed here at MSU Bozeman (lucky me!). My appreciation for "all-natural" has grown immeasurably because of the enthusiasm and finesse of my husband, Eric, who is a bird and exotic animal veterinarian with a zest for all things outdoors. Some of my favorite photos that I've taken from our trips are in the photo gallery above...Life is certainly beautiful!
Finally, life is complete, only because of my babies! Our son Xavier and all our pets. Here's to Cash (Mexican King Snake), Useles and Rayray (our tortoises), Zain (budgie), Baxter (African Gray) and Heron (maroon bellied conure). We love them, everyone!
