Dr. Rebecca J. Brooker
Lab Director

Dr. Brooker is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Montana State University. She completed her undergraduate degree in her home state of Iowa before moving to Pennsylvania to do her graduate work at Penn State. She then spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin before moving to MSU. She and her husband both work in the Psychology department and are thrilled to make their new home among the beautiful views, outdoor fun, and wonderful neighbors of Bozeman.

Randi Phelps

Randi Phelps
Lab Manager

Randi is a senior psychology student at Montana State University. After she completes her bachelor’s degree, she plans to get her masters in a neuropsychology, neuroimmunology, or temperament research program. She then hopes to get her Ph.D. to better equip her for future research. Randi loves hiking, biking, and spending time outdoors. Randi is excited to be a part of the DOME Lab and can’t wait to meet new faces!

Jessica Stratton

Jessica is a senior in psychology at Montana State University. Her interests include a wide range of areas in Psychology and she hopes to explore as mush as possible before specializing in a certain area at graduate school. She has enjoyed gaining experience and knowledge in Developmental Psychology working in the DOME lab for a full year. She will also spend her last semester at MSU working in a Social Psychology lab. She is constantly looking for new experiences and chances to expand her knowledge base. Following graduation,she would like explore her options and opportunities before eventually getting her Ph.D. in whatever area she decides to specialize in.

Lindsey Whitcomb

Lindsey is a Sophomore in psychology at Montana State University. She loves anything outdoors from hiking, biking, playing with her kids, and entertaining. She plans to graduate with her bachelors degree in psychology at MSU and then continue for a liscensing in Addiction Counseling. She would love to find a job here in Bozeman and get even more settled into the community.

Holly Howe

Holly Howe

Holly is a sophomore at Montana State University. She plans to get her bachelors degree in psychology while also studying pre-med. Although undecided on whether she wants to attend PA school or get a masters in psychology after graduating MSU, her interests lie in neuroscience and she would like to continue in that direction. She loves helping and working with people, and will continue to do that no matter where her future takes her.

Brittany Guest

Brittany Guest

Brittany is a senior at Montana State University majoring in cell biology and neuroscience and minoring in history. She plans on going to medical school and specializing in neurology. After receiving her MD, she hopes to start an outreach program to educate parents and coaches about concussions in young athletes.

Patrick Begnoche

Patrick Begnoche
Graduate Student

Patrick is a first year graduate student at Montana State University. He completed his undergraduate degree in psychology at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and is now enrolled in the M.S. psychology program. His interests are research oriented and include epigenetics, ecopsychology, and understanding the neuropsychological processes involved in mindfulness and compassion meditation.

Christopher Ross

Christopher Ross
Volunteer Research Assistant

Christopher is a junior in psychology at MSU minoring in sociology and member of the MSU Honors College. After graduating from MSU, he intends to become a school psychologist working for the public schools after earning his Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S.) in graduate school. He enjoys spending time with his dog Mila and working towards his private pilot certificate.

Katie Garrison

Katie Garrison
Graduate Student

Katie is a second year graduate student in the Masters of Science program here at MSU. Her research interests center around social cognition. She studies unconscious thought in decision making, problem-solving, impression formation, and most recently goal-pursuit. She is also interested in the mechanisms of motivation and self-regulation. In the DOME lab, she is learning neuroscience methods to inform these areas of research. Next year she hopes to pursue social neuroscience in a doctoral program, where she can continue to study how the mind works and how people interact with others and the world.

Mara Kuehn

Mara Kuehn is a senior majoring in applied psychology with a minor in sociology. She has completed an Associates degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling (Addictions Counseling) and her interests include neurobiological research, music, the issues of domestic violence, and childhood/adolescent development. After completing her Bachelors’ degree, she plans on returning to MSU to pursue a Master’s degree in psychological research as well as counseling. She is excited to be working in the DOME lab to further her knowledge as well as to meet new people!

Tanner Lineberry is a senior majoring in psychology. He is interested in research in developmental and social psychology. After graduation, he is planning to attend graduate school and the University of Montana to obtain a master’s degree in social work, and eventually clinical social work. He hopes to eventually work with addiction therapy.
