Documenting Disability
MSU has established documentation guidelines/requirements for the following categories
of disability: Learning Disability, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Physical,
Psychological, and Disability Resulting from a Traumatic Brain Injury-Related Cognitive
Impairment. Documentation of disability submitted to the DSS Office will be reviewed by
appropriate staff. In the case of LD and ADHD documentation, independent licensed professionals
may be asked to review the documentation submitted to determine if it meets MSU's
requirements for those disability categories.
