In February 1998, a clinical expert panel met to review findings from Oregon studies (conducted by members of the research team) and make recommendations for this study. The panel included representation from the disciplines of ergonomic engineering, physical therapy, case management, occupational medicine, safety and risk management, clinical psychology, health education, rural health and rehabilitation, and occupational nursing.
