RE: INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR FOREIGN TRAVEL
Annually, a number of MSU employees undertake travel into foreign countries for MSU business purposes. Our normal worker’s compensation insurance coverage that applies to occupational injuries and illnesses while in Montana does not apply to foreign travel and a separate package of insurance benefits has been secured for this purpose. In order to make sure that this coverage and package of foreign travel benefits is maintained in effect for all MSU employees we need to have the following information for each foreign business trip:

Please provide the above information for any planned or proposed foreign business travel by an MSU employee as soon as foreign business travel arrangements are initiated.
Your assistance in reporting travel that is known and scheduled is greatly appreciated. This will help guarantee that coverage is there when needed for all MSU employees traveling into foreign countries for MSU business purposes.
