Occupational Health ?
Health and Safety is involved in the detection of unsafe or unhealthy working conditions, and in the identification and monitoring of occupational exposures to chemical and physical hazards. In addition, they provide work site health and safety inspections including but not necessarily limited to laboratories, service and agricultural work areas, and office environments. Health & Safety develops and performs health and safety training programs as required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). These programs include, but are not limited to, a Hearing Conservation Program, Respiratory Protection, Blood borne Pathogen Standard, Occupational Medical Surveillance, Confined Space, Fall Protection and Personal Protective Equipment.
