Call for 2012-13 University Honors Seminar Faculty Proposals
What do professors Jack Horner, Neil Cornish, Richard Wolff, Gordon Brittan, David Lageson, Michael Miles, Michael Sexson, Donald Demetriades and Robert Rydell have in common? They all have taught upper division Honors seminars, and found the experience of teaching a small group of highly motivated students in a dynamic, intimate setting to be enormously satisfying. Call for “Texts and Critics” Faculty Fellows 2012-2013
If you would like to teach highly motivated students in a dynamic interdisciplinary arena, you are invited to apply for either the fall semester of 2012 (UH 201) or spring semester of 2013 (UH 202). In the fall our theme is “Inquiry;” in the spring it is “Imagination.” For more information, click on the title link above.
Call for "Great Expeditions" Faculty Proposals
The University Honors Program invites faculty proposals for our “Great Expeditions” (UH 204) for Spring 2013. The three-credit class convenes once a week throughout the semester, examining the history, social and cultural milieu of an international destination that students and faculty will visit during a two week excursion at the conclusion of the semester. Previous expeditions have included Ireland, South Africa, Thailand, Russia, Mongolia, the Dominican Republic, France, England, and Germany. For more information, click on the title link above.
