Montana State University has established a Research Compliance Committee to oversee MSU’s efforts to comply with federal and state regulation of research. While research compliance programs at MSU are not centralized under the management of the Committee, it monitors, evaluates, and reports to the President concerning the various compliance programs and efforts at MSU.
The Committee is responsible for advising and making recommendations concerning the design and implementation of, and for monitoring, MSU’s Research Compliance Programs in accordance with generally accepted elements of effective compliance programs. (See Committee Charge.)
The Committee is composed of six members who were appointed by the President and five ex officio, non-voting members. (See Committee Roster.) The Committee meets regularly and its agendas are published in advance of meetings.
