Other Federal Grant Information
Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA)
CFDA numbers are identifying numbers for a federal assistance program.
The CFDA gives comprehensive information on grants and other forms of assistance available
from programs across the whole federal government. In addition, it provides a wealth
of information on such topics as the organizational structure of federal agencies and
grant proposal writing.
USA.Gov is the first ever U.S. Government website that provides the public with
a single on-line portal that connects to information and resources from all 27 million
federal agency web pages. FirstGov allows citizens to search all on-line federal
government resources from one site, conduct searches by topic rather than by agency,
and have access to federal government information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)
Compilation of all final regulations issued by federal agencies and published annually
by the National Archives and Records Administration.
Federal Register (access via Government Printing Office [GPO] gateway).
A daily compilation of federal regulations and legal notices, presidential proclamations
and executive orders, federal agency documents having general applicability and legal
effect, documents required to be published by act of Congress, and other federal agency
documents of public interest; prepared by the National Archives and Records Administration
for public distribution by the Government Printing Office.
Commerce Business Daily (CBD)
Published by the Department of Commerce, it is the medium through which the federal
government announces bidding opportunities for procurement of equipment, services,
materials, or research through contracts; subcontracting leads; contract awards, sales
of surplus property; and foreign business opportunities.
Fed Biz Opps is the single government point-of-entry (GPE) for federal government procurement
opportunities over $25,000. Government buyers are able to publicize their business opportunities by posting information directly
to FedBizOpps via the Internet. Through one portal - FedBizOpps (FBO) - commercial vendors seeking Federal markets for their products
and services can search, monitor and retrieve opportunities solicited by the entire Federal contracting community.
