Eleodes obscura

Eleodes obscurus is a species of darkling beetle that usually grows to a length of 23- to 31-mm. The diet of this adult beetle consists of dead plant material, roots, seeds, and carrion. This beetle's range is very broad, stretching from northern Mexico to British Columbia and from Washington to Nebraska.
