pterophorid sp.

This is a pair of plume moths, family Pterophoridae. These moths used to be classified as "microlepidoptera". They are easily identified by their slightly rolled wings and are often mistaken for a dry blade of grass by potential predators. This family of moths fill a variety of ecological niches, including some that are agricultural pests while others are used to control invasive plant species.
