CEPAC MINUTES: 5-10-00
I). OLD BUSINESS:
q Minutes from April meeting accepted and approved
q President Roark has been asked (previously) about staff buss pass and
e-mail accounts, if Carol hears something over the summer will put out on
list serv
II). NEW BUSINESS:
q Should CEPAC respond to quotes from faculty/professionals comments about
the pay raise freezes?
q Nancy is sending a letter to the Chronicle (letter to the editor)
concerning the "janitor" remark made by Gary Larkin
q Carol will talk to John Amend from Faculty Council about CEPAC responding
to the comments made at Faculty Council concerning the remark from Gary Larkin
q Next BOR meeting is in Kalispell
q Carol needs someone to attend to represent MSU
q Classification task force recommendation is being presented
q Taskforce is anticipating approval and expects to see pilot programs
begin in the next year
q CEPAC Re-structuring
q The final draft is in Susan Alt's hands; approval through various
committees probably will not be before fall
q No meetings for the summer, if anything comes up let Carol know or post
on list serv (this would have been really meaningful if I had put out the
minutes before NOW…oops)
III). COMMITTEE REPORTS:
q All reports were brief or not at all due to the end of the academic year.
MEETINGS FOR THE 2000-2001 YEAR WILL BE POSTED BY CAROL IN AUGUST
