Support Development of Interdisciplinary Research/Creativity Awards
2009

June 1 Round-Awarded

Six proposals were submitted for the June deadline requesting funds to help develop interdisciplinary research/creative proposals. The committee of Dave Dooley, Joe Fedock, Tom McCoy, and Cathy Whitlock selected three proposals for funding provided by the VP Research, Provost, and EPSCoR offices. The successful proposals (1) articulated well-developed interdisciplinary linkages and compelling science; (2) were a good match for the particular interdisciplinary grant solicitation; (3) offered a reasonable timeline for full submission with clear specification of funding needs; and (4) assembled a strong team of researchers from MSU.
