For the entirety of May, the city’s Solid Waste Division will waive its fee for bulky item pickups. Typically $20 per item, the service covers the pickup of large items such as couches, mattresses, and desks that are bound for the dump.

Volunteers are needed for NASA ROADS Hub on May 21.
The U.S. Forest Service maintains a use agreement permit with MSU. The new 10-year permit includes a provision that requires all programs, outside of research conducted under a research permit, using U.S. Forest Service Land to report the use for program activities. If you will use the U.S. Forest Service land between August 15 and December 15, please submit a proposed Use form before July 15.
