Academic Term Housing

Freshmen Students

All students attending a freshman Orientation/Class Registration program in June or July are required to stay on campus. The Orientation Office will make arrangements for your housing for Monday and Tuesday evenings during the Orientation/Class Registration program.

If you will be arriving early or staying late and need on-campus housing before Monday night or after Tuesday night, please make your reservations online through the on-campus summer housing website. If you are arriving early AND staying late, you will need to fill out two separate on-campus accommodations (one prior to your Orientation session and one after your Orientation session).

  • Session #1 (June 13-15)
    • Student Code: OR122
  • Session #2 (June 27-29)
    • Student Code: OR222
  • Session #3 (July 11-13)
    • Student Code: OR322

Please remember that you only need to do this if you need housing before or after Orientation/Class Registration.

If you cannot, or prefer not, to stay on campus during your Orientation/Class Registration session, please register for the August Orientation, which takes place at the end of August prior to the start of the fall semester.

Parents & Family Members

There are many hotels and other accommodations in the Bozeman area. Summer is a very busy season in Bozeman. Therefore, we recommend that you make reservations as early as possible.

On-campus housing is also available before, during and after June and July Orientation programs. Make your reservations online through the on-campus summer housing website if you would like to stay on campus while your student completes their Orientation/Class Registration program. Please contact Conference & Event Services directly at [email protected] if you have any questions.

  • Session #1 (June 13-15)
    • Parent/Family Code: PF122
  • Session #2 (June 27-29)
    • Parent/Family Code: PF222
  • Session #3 (July 11-13)
    • Parent/Family Code: PF322

We also recommend packing separately from your student as parents and students will be housed in separate residence halls. Leading up to Orientation/Class Registration, we will send ample communication so you know more regarding checking in, lunch and dining options, schedule, etc. There are on-campus dining options and also many off-campus options nearby.
