Vice President of Agriculture Candidate Open Forum: Dr. Charles Stoltenow

Five finalists from regional universities will interview for MSU’s vice president of agriculture position from Oct. 22 – Oct. 30.
Stoltenow has more than 30 years of experience in animal sciences and veterinary medicine. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of North Dakota State University Extension and leads the NDSU Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources programs. He also serves as a professor in the NDSU Animal and Range Sciences Department. He received his bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University, his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Iowa State University, and has completed advanced training in epidemiology and public health through the Epidemic Intelligence Service at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. He is board certified as a diplomat in the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine.
In addition to an open forum, a reception Stoltenow will be held from 5 – 6 p.m. on Monday in room 108 of the Plant Bioscience Building.
The interviews will be held on Oct. 22 – Oct. 30 on campus. As part of that visit to campus, each finalist will hold an open forum with faculty and staff, in addition to an open reception of the day of their visit. The finalists' CVs can be found at:
