Presenter: Marjorie Piechowski, Director of Research Support, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dr. Piechowski has more than 25 years of experience in research administration.
Offered to MSU only, this webinar will present information on the many diversified funding programs through the U. S. Department of Education. Among the programs to be discussed are graduate fellowships, international education, institutional grants for academic student support, business education and research, rehabilitation research, special education, vocational education, foreign language programs, faculty travel opportunities, and the Institute of Education Sciences. Especially for proposal writers who are more familiar with NSF and NIH, this session also will present useful information on ED proposal formats, scoring systems, and the ED review process. The session will be of interest to a broad variety of faculty as Department of Education funding spans across many areas.
