Dr. Ross Carlson presenting at MSU's 10x10 Innovation Roadshow

CBE affiliated faculty member Ross Carlson, professor in chemical and biological engineering, will present “Bacteria communities, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts,” at MSU's 10x10 Innovation Roadshow Thursday, October 26 at the Ellen Theater in downtown Bozeman. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., presentations begin at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free.
MSU's Office of Research and Economic Development is sponsoring the event “MSU Innovation Road Show: From Solar Physics to Brains to Weeds” featuring 10 dynamic speakers presenting a 10-minute research story.
Carlson joined the Center for Biofilm Engineering as a postdoctoral researcher in 2004 working under Dr. Phil Stewart. He was appointed to a tenure-track position with MSU's Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering in 2005. His research interests are biochemical engineering, systems biology, metabolic engineering, and biofilm physiology and control.
