“I have set my message to music. Let’s call it a search for light.” Arvo Pärt
Under the direction of Dr. Tobin Stewart, MSU’s Montanans and a select chamber group of strings will perform a concert featuring two significant works from the world’s most performed living composer, Arvo Pärt. MSU School of Music faculty members, Angella Ahn and Mary Kothman will be featured as violin soloists with Pärt’s Tabula Rasa, and the combined group will present Pärt’s Berliner Messe.
The President's Fine Arts Series is brought to you by the Montana State University Office of the President, the College of Arts & Architecture and the School of Music. This year's series Legacy + Art: Celebrating 125 Years of Creativity honors Montana State University's 125 Anniversary and will take place during the month of March.
