CBE Special Seminar: Dr. Pierangela Cristiani

Dr. Pierangela Cristiani, biologist at Ricerca sul Sistema Energetico, has extensive experience in research, collaborative project management, and teaching on materials/microbes interactions. She is chair of the WP “Microbial Corrosion” of the European Federation of Corrosion and is currently affiliated with the Chemical Department of the Università Statale di Milano (I) where she is driving a study on new types of bioelectrochemical systems of interest to the energy Industry. Her research activity has mainly focused on microbial fuel cells development.
Dr. Cristiani will be presenting “Microbial fuel cells and other bioelectrochemical systems for the new paradigm of circular economy,” at this special seminar.
