In biology, apoptosis describes programmed cell death
in organisms. In the 1970's, the "decay of the false
vacuum" related to the Higgs Boson was discovered.
The decay implies a possibility of "cosmic apoptosis."
Learn how supersymmetry may protect our universe
from this dire fate.
