Spring Visiting Artist: Jeff Barfoot Reception and Lecture

This year's Spring 2019 visiting artist is Jeff Barfoot. Jeff Barfoot is a graphic designer. He has worked on graphic designs for many different entities and is recognized by major publications and competitions such as the American Institute of Graphic Arts and Communication Arts. His exhibition for the Exit Gallery is entitled, “I Don’t Sleep.”
Please join use for the exhibit reception, Wednesday February 6th beginning at 5:30 in the Exit Gallery (room 212 in the SUB), followed by an artist lecture by Jeff Barfoot at 7:00pm in Reynolds Hall.
The exhibit will be featured from February 4th-February 22nd.
Jeff Barfoot is the managing principal and creative director of RBMM, the brand identity studio which is part of The Richards Group. His design and illustration work has been recognized by most major design competitions and publications. Jeff is a past president and board member of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications. Over the course of his career, he has done projects for 7-Eleven, AT&T, Crate & Barrel, the Dallas Museum of Art, Fossil, Hallmark, Hasbro, The Home Depot, IBM, Neenah Paper, Neiman Marcus, Nickelodeon, Pepsi, Sappi Fine Paper, Shiner Beer, and Yum! Brands. In the little spare time he has, Jeff and his wife, Shay, run Bee Things, designing and screen-printing limited-edition art prints, apparel, and paper products for the home.
The Exit Gallery is open Monday-Friday 10am-6pm.
