Talk on Domestic and International Policy

Vincent Smith is a professor of the MSU Department of Agricultural Economics and Economics, director of the Agricultural Marketing Policy Center, and a visiting scholar and director of agricultural studies at the American Enterprise Institute. Smith's areas of expertise include microeconomics, agricultural policy analysis, and international trade. His work is relevant to inform substantive policy issues as he had testified before congressional committees, and served as a consultant on agricultural risk management and crop insurance in developing countries.
Dr. Smith will give a talk on domestic and international agricultural policy as part of the Summit on Women in Agriculture. The Summit will take place in 165 Norm Asbjornson Hall, Montana State University. The summit is sponsored by the USDA-NIFA project, Empowering Women in Agriculture.
