- Monday, October 14, 2019 to Tuesday, October 15, 2019, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm
- Danforth Chapel
We are excited to announce our 24 Hours of Prayer and Worship for students and campus ministries at MSU's Danforth Chapel (opposite Hannon Residence Hall) on October 14-15, 2019.
This inter-ministry event is open to all to participate!
We will begin at 12pm noon on Oct. 14th with an hour Kick-Off where we would like to PACK Danforth Chapel on campus and then have everyone sign up for a 1-hour time slot for the next 24 hours. We will end our time 24 hrs later at noon on Oct. 15th where we invite ALL who have participated to gather again to hear some vision for continuing noon prayer each day MSU classes are in session.
Why are we praying? We are praying for an awakening amongst believers and a revival among those who don't yet know Jesus here at MSU. "An awakening takes place when God sovereignly pours out his Spirit and it impacts a culture. A revival, on the other hand, is what the church must experience. It’s when the church comes back to life, when the church becomes what it was always meant to be. A spiritual awakening, that outpouring of the Spirit, is up to God. We can’t organize it, but we can agonize for it in prayer and call upon God to send it." For the whole article I quoted, click here.
Please choose a time slot here. We are looking to fill each slot with at least 15 people. When you arrive at Danforth, there will be a sheet guiding you through your time if you are new to praying in this way. We also welcome those who would like to bring your guitar or other instruments to lead some impromptu worship. Thank you for being a part of this exciting event! On behalf of all followers of Jesus at MSU.Jesse Radoslovich(509) 630-0115
