- Reid Hall, 415 - view map
This open-invitation network meets monthly for faculty, grad students & staff engaged off-campus with Indigenous communities to conduct research and/or provide service program support. This group liaisons with the Council on American Indian Programs which focuses on American Indian student success. Our fall 2019 meetings include a special focus on research professional development exercises provided by the National Congress of American Indians in conjunction with UN-Reno's School of Community Health Sciences. In December we will reflect on and discuss the role of culture in research partnerships. Light lunch foods will be provided.
The December meeting will be Tuesday, December 12, 11:30-12:45 in Reid 415. Contact Elizabeth Bird, firstname.lastname@example.org, for more information, or to be included in the Common Threads listserv and Box folder.
