- Reid Hall, 415 - view map
This open-invitation network meets monthly for faculty, grad students & staff engaged off-campus with Indigenous communities to conduct research and/or provide service program support. This group liaisons with the Council on American Indian Programs which focuses on American Indian student success. Our fall 2019 meetings include a special focus on research professional development exercises provided by the National Congress of American Indians in conjunction with UN-Reno's School of Community Health Sciences. In November we will reflect on and discuss trust in research relationships, including decision-making and funds distribution. Light lunch foods will be provided.
The December meeting will be Tuesday, December 12, 11:30-12:45 in Reid 415. Contact Elizabeth Bird, firstname.lastname@example.org, for more information, or to be included in the Common Threads listserv and Box folder.
