Ambassador Joseph DeTrani: Dealing with a Nuclear North Korea
On July 27, 1953 an armistice was signed ending the war with North Korea. Ambassador DeTrani was the U.S. Special Envoy for the Six-Party Talks with North Korea and the U.S. representative to the Korea Energy Development Organization. He has published and spoken publicly on issues dealing with North Korea, China, Cyber security, nuclear nonproliferation and international organized crime.
