MSU hosts Student Research Celebration on April 18

MSU students will present the results of their research for the Bozeman community to see during the annual Student Research Celebration, which will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Strand Union Building ballrooms A and B on the MSU campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Wiedenheft to explain CRISPR gene editing at April 9 provost lecture

In the last installment of the 2018-2019 MSU Provost's Distinguished Lecturer Series, Blake Wiedenheft will share his personal story and explain how basic research on CRISPRs has led to the transformative new technology. The free public talk begins at 7 p.m. in the Hager Auditorium at the Museum of the Rockies.

Bozeman-based MSU spin-out company raises $33 million in capital

A Bozeman biotechnology company founded on research conducted at MSU has raised $33 million in venture capital funds, the most substantial investment to date in an MSU spin-out.
