The Diversity and Inclusion Student Commons invites students, staff, and faculty interested in expanding their exposure to critical theory, with particular emphasis placed on queer theory, to participate in DisQourse, a queer intersectional reading group. DisQourse is designed to build community through critical analysis and group discussion of feminist, queer, crip, and critical race theory texts. It is a purposive space geared toward investigating the intersection of queerness, gender identity, racialized subjectivity, disability, class, and all other intersections of identity. DisQourse offers a forum for the exploration of connections, attachments, and solidarities that may as yet have been unexplored by participants.
