Montana has a constitutional and legal obligation to educate all
Montanans about American Indians at all grade levels and across
multiple content areas. Indian Education For All illustrates best
practices in multicultural education and addresses historical and
contemporary oppressions of indigenous peoples by transforming
educational policy, curriculum and pedagogy. The Montana
University System has been an invaluable partner with ongoing
implementation efforts and IEFA provides the P-20 community with
an excellent opportunity to “Indigenize” our educational systems.
