TRAINING & EQUIPMENT

Classroom training will include:

  • Operations & Safety: Snowplow/Dump truck, Wheeled Loader
  • Equipment Operations & Maintenance: Pre-trip and walk around procedures
  • Winter Operations & Safety: LTAP Winter Survival and Personal Safety [MD1]

Operator safety, best practices for operation, and maintenance will be emphasized.  The day two activities are a test of skill and a great opportunity for peer-to-peer exchange of ideas, techniques, and practices.  Teamwork and friendly competition!

County Road Supervisors, Commissioners, Public Works Directors, Tribal Members, and other Interested Parties

The classroom workshop combined with field work and equipment safety training is designed to provide experience and test the skills of those performing operations on roads, streets, and runways. Personnel from Montana Department of Transportation, cities, towns, counties, tribal members, and military are all welcome.

Join us for two days of safety instruction, hands-on experience, food (lunch), and prizes.
