Cool Japan: Culture in Japan


Program Overview 

This 6-week MSU summer 2018 course ends with an immersion experience in Japan to study the sociology and anthropology-based theories of Japanese culture.

Dates Abroad

  • May 21-31, 2018


  • Students will stay in a hotel with shared rooms.


  • Breakfast provided daily. Lunch included most days depending on itinerary. Dinner is included for the first and last nights of the program.  Students will be responsible for all meals not included in program.

Program Fee 

$3,634.80 + International Airfare + Tuition
  • Program fee includes international health insurance, accommodations, meals (as listed above), in-country transportation, cultural activities, and more

Financial Aid

This program is eligible for financial aid during spring term.

  • rising sophomore and above. no pre-requisite courses are needed.
