MSU doctoral student earns prestigious fellowship for computational geometry

When making a prostate cancer diagnosis, pathologists ordinarily evaluate the images seen on a biopsy slide to identify cancerous growths. MSU doctoral student Anna Schenfisch hopes her research in mathematics and computer science may someday streamline that evaluation process.

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks to perform 'Henry IV, Part I' and 'The Merry Wives of Windsor' in its 47th season

The company will travel more than 7,000 miles during the season, which runs from June 12 through Sept. 3, and perform in 61 communities. All performances, except the Sweet Pea Festival in Bozeman, are free and hosted in local parks and public spaces, making them accessible to all.

MSU leaders to visit northwestern Montana during annual bus tour

This year's tour, with a theme of "Follow the Mountain and Valley Economies," will include stops in Missoula, Hamilton, Corvallis, St. Regis, Trout Creek, Kootenai Falls, Libby, Kalispell and Ronan.

MSU's Western Transportation Institute to host STEM and design summer camps for middle schoolers

MSU's Western Transportation Institute will host two five-day summer camps that are free for area middle school students interested in community design, planning, and science, technology, engineering and math.
