Peer Mentoring Program
The Empower Peer Mentoring Program connects freshman and transfer underrepresented and/or first-generation STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) students with underrepresented and/or first-generation mentors who are succeeding at MSU. "First generation" students are those who are the first in their families to attend a four-year college or university.
The program supports personal and academic interactions between peer mentors and mentees, encouraging trust-building, friendship, and professional engagement.
Empower is hosting a meeting to kick-off the 2020 mentoring program on Thursday, OCT. 10th at 4:00pm in Norm Asbjornon Hall 267.
