Organization(s): A Precious Child and Clothes to Kids Denver
Students traveling to Denver will be volunteering at A Precious Child and Clothes to Kids Denver. Both organizations focus on providing resources and necessities to children in need to help give them the best chance for success. With A Precious Child – students will be processing incoming donations of clothes and home goods to be distributed to children and families in need through their Resource Center. At Clothes to Kids Denver students may either work directly with families assisting them with shopping for clothes their children need or helping to organize, tag and stock clothing to keep the store ready to meet the needs of families.
Location: Bozeman, MT
Students who are staying close to campus over Spring Break will have the opportunity to work with a variety of non-profits and organizations in and around Bozeman. This will be a great opportunity to get to know Bozeman better and to explore different opportunities to get involved and give back beyond spring break. Specific projects TBA.
Location: South Beach, OR
Organization(s): South Beach State Park
Spend a week living and working at the historic South Beach State Park along the Oregon Coast. Students will stay at yurts located within the park and assist on projects ranging from trail maintenance, coastal clean-up or facilities maintenance to ensure they can continue fulfilling their mission to “provide and protect outstanding natural, scenic, cultural, historic and recreational sites for the enjoyment and education of present and future generations”.

Organization(s):Utah Food Bank and the Road Home
This group will be helping to provide resources to individuals at risk of hunger and those experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake City by volunteering with the Utah Food Bank and the Road Home. With the Utah Food Bank, students will be working in the warehouse to organize and or help decorate food boxes. With the Road Home students will be helping to prepare and serve meals at their Men’s Resource Center for either breakfast, lunch or dinner shifts.
