Record Books

Record books should be completed and turned into 4-H Leaders ASAP so they can look over and sign them before record book grading on September 16th, 2022.

Another Judith Basin Fair...In The Books!

Another Judith Basin County Fair has come and gone. Huge thank you goes out to all the parents, volunteers, sponsors, 4-H members, and communities that helped put on yet another wonderful fair!

Congrats to all the kids that had their hard work pay off. The drought and heat sure didn't make the last month easy for all the animals. Also, congrats to the indoor projects! The exhibit hall was full of a variety of different projects that showcased a lot of dedication as well!

Thank You

Big thank you goes to Kate Loose, Kayleen Bree, and Grace Holzer for taking all of our Medallion photos! They turned out wonderful. Be sure to check out the 4-H Medallion copy of the Judith Basin Press.

Also thank you to all the 4-H Ambassadors this year that helped hand out ribbons and trophies! Made our job easier!

Ambassadorship

If you are interested in promoting 4-H, build leadership skills, be able to have fun perks like handing out prizes at fair and being an all around helper, apply for a Judith Basin County 4-H Ambassador position!

Must be 14 by October 1st, 2022. Application will be attached in Newsletter. Please fill out and return to the Extension Office... PO Box 427, Stanford, MT 59479

"What is a Montana 4-H Ambassador?"

A 4-H Ambassador is an official envoy, an authorized representative of our Montana 4-H Program. A 4-H Ambassador is a self-motivated, enthusiastic leader who promotes 4-H using the skill, knowledge, and leadership abilities acquired in 4-H with fellow members, area residents, community leaders, elected officials, and non 4-H youth. A 4-H Ambassador serves to strengthen the 4-H program through public relations.

Fall Leadership Training

Friday, October 21st - Sunday, October 23, 2022

Great Falls Holiday Inn

Registration cost is $175, including breakfast (2 to a room), meals Saturday and Sunday breakfast and program costs.

Adult chaperones will have lodging options during registation.

Those participants interested in attending need to register using ZSuites.

Youth participants must be 14 on or before October 1st, 2022 and volunteer chaperones must be at least 21 and a certified volunteer.

**You must re-enroll for the current 4-H year in ZSuites before registering for this event. Because this event is so close to the beginning of the 4-H year this is often a challenge. However, we just ask that you update the personal information and waiver tabs in ZSuites prior to the event and can complete your club/project enrollement after the event if needed.

Re-Enrollment for the New Year!

Re-enrollment is coming up quickly! Enrollment will be through ZSuites again this year. I will include enrollment step-by-step instructions in the next month's newsletter. If you have questions, always feel free to call Katie, Hannah, or your club leader!
