Cecil Tharp, Montana State University Extension Pesticide Education Specialist

Private applicators in Granite, Deer Lodge, Beaverhead, Madison, Jefferson, Silver Bow, Powell, Lewis & Clark, Broadwater, Gallatin, Park and Meagher counties should be sure they have attained 6 private applicator credits prior to the January 1st, 2015 deadline to avoid losing their private applicator pesticide certification. Applicators can assess their credit information on the MTPlants website by selecting ‘view education credits’ and entering their private applicator license number. The Montana State University Pesticide Education Program (PEP) would like to announce multiple last chance private applicator credit opportunities for private applicators that are in need of more private applicator credits. Trainings in Bozeman, Twin Bridges, Great Falls, and Shelby can aid region 1 private applicators in attaining the needed 6 credits prior to the January 1st deadline.
