Private applicators in private applicator district 4 (Phillips, Valley, Daniels, Sheridan, Roosevelt, Garfield, McCone, Richland, Dawson, Wibaux, Rosebud, Prairie, Treasure, Custer, Fallon, Carter, Custer and Powder River counties) should ensure they have attained 6 private applicator credits prior to the January 1st, 2017 deadline to avoid losing their private applicator pesticide certification. Applicators can assess their credit information at mtplants.mt.gov by selecting ‘pesticide programs’ and ‘pesticide license search’ by entering their license number. The Montana State University Pesticide Education Program (PEP) would like to announce multiple last chance private applicator credit opportunities for applicators in need of credits. Trainings in Wolf Point, Sidney, Hardin and Plentywood can aid region 4 applicators in attaining 6 credits prior to the January 1st deadline.
