By Brent Lloyd, GEAR UP MSU Program Graduate Assistant
"On Friday, May 13th, Montana State’s Spring Commencement will take place, celebrating the success and achievements of the newest class of Bobcat graduates. The feeling of walking across the stage at commencement is unlike any other. It is a feeling of pride in what you have accomplished. A feeling of relief knowing that all of the hard work, all of the busy days and long nights have paid off as you are recognized and receive your diploma, making you an alumnus of a great university. And most of all it is a feeling of excitement as you move into a new phase of your life."

MSU is looking forward to welcoming the next incoming class to Bozeman. Montana GEAR UP high schools will be celebrating Decision Day May 2nd-6th! Check out the Montana University System Decision Day webpage for more information.
"Montana's Decision Day is based on the traditional signing day by athletes on May 1st. Decision Day events provide school communities a chance to celebrate the post-secondary plans for their graduating class, while simultaneously creating a college-going atmosphere for all grade levels by promoting college awareness, career, technical, and military opportunities. Using encouragement through recognition, this event provides an opportunity to support students in the transition after high school, and fosters inclusivity and community by recognizing each student's post-high school goals. Join us in celebrating the post-secondary decisions of Montana's seniors!"
