WEBVTT 1 00:00:05.099 --> 00:00:18.088 Good afternoon everybody my name is Jack little, and I'm married around here today to discuss this you life and coronary services, and just the overall on campus student living experience and everything that has to offer. 2 00:00:18.088 --> 00:00:24.870 Yeah, between the 2 of us, we have combined 6 years of residence life experience across numerous halls. 3 00:00:24.870 --> 00:00:33.479 And we started together as desk clerks, and now we're already in different buildings. So we have just a little bit of info on what it's like to live at. I'm a seal. 4 00:00:36.600 --> 00:00:41.700 All right, so as an overview, we have 10 distinct residence hall communities here on campus. 5 00:00:41.700 --> 00:00:47.369 Certain communities might be made up of 2 to 3 billions, but overall we separate that into 10 different communities. 6 00:00:47.369 --> 00:00:52.289 Every single building does our president advisors I believe our total is about 120 right now. 7 00:00:52.289 --> 00:00:56.280 And, like other campuses and cost dormitory settings. 8 00:00:56.280 --> 00:01:02.549 On every floor and every wing, and every building we are here to be kind of a resource for our students being transparent with them as well. 9 00:01:02.549 --> 00:01:08.219 In addition to that here and see what you believe the student experience, it goes beyond, just sleep and study in your room. 10 00:01:08.219 --> 00:01:12.659 That's really like the current events and programs for our to make sure that they have a lot of fun in their building. 11 00:01:12.659 --> 00:01:17.040 On a given year we have about 4,600 residents that live here on campus with us. 12 00:01:17.040 --> 00:01:23.579 For the most part, these are freshmen, this is due to the state of Montana have any 2 semester and live on campus requirement. 13 00:01:23.579 --> 00:01:33.299 We do have a few we have a select group of returning students as well. I'd say, and it's anywhere from 4 to 600 residents or so come back soft more than older to live on campus with us. 14 00:01:33.299 --> 00:01:46.049 But for the most part, it is true. Freshman here moving forward. We have a lot of living options. We have single rooms in double rooms, and even triple rooms and highlight call. 15 00:01:46.049 --> 00:01:50.370 Um, but we also have something really unique called our living learning communities. 16 00:01:50.370 --> 00:01:56.340 Uh, these are basically just like, specialized floors to kind of cater to specific needs or wants of students. 17 00:01:56.340 --> 00:02:01.530 So, as you can see, there's a business floor, creative arts, floor, and emerging leaders for things like that. 18 00:02:01.530 --> 00:02:10.199 Um, that can help students really find their place to be and their people to be with. And those communities are cool because they put on very specific events. 19 00:02:10.199 --> 00:02:22.770 Which our students really tend to love we also have a mixed gendered housing option in Madison hall, which is basically where there, anybody who identifies as any gender can live in those spaces together. 20 00:02:22.770 --> 00:02:26.639 Which is really cool and an awesome inclusive. 21 00:02:26.639 --> 00:02:38.939 Thing that we have here on campus. Yeah I would say for the most part, 90 to 95% of our students do experience a Co and building with a double room. So they would remain. And that is what most freshmen get to experience here and miss you. 22 00:02:38.939 --> 00:02:43.139 We do have a select few amount of single rooms for them as well. Like Mary said in those triple rooms. 23 00:02:43.139 --> 00:02:46.949 With these llc's will work to talk about them in specific as they come up. 24 00:02:46.949 --> 00:02:53.430 But if you can see, they're kind of separate into major, specific llc's and then some that are more lifestyle based. So. 25 00:02:53.430 --> 00:02:59.129 Obviously with these major based ones that are on the floor and have a similar major so, the business floor, for example. 26 00:02:59.129 --> 00:03:03.060 Everyone would be going to be in the College of business so I'll be a goal of theirs. 27 00:03:03.060 --> 00:03:07.740 And the is, would work maybe here of talking to them about the business school and what's going on. 28 00:03:07.740 --> 00:03:17.610 I've known in the past, they've also done bringing in advisors and everything, so the College of the business, they send them their advisors to the floor meeting at night, and they can talk with residents on that floor. 29 00:03:17.610 --> 00:03:21.539 With our LLC, there is an extra 50 dollar charge per resident. 30 00:03:21.539 --> 00:03:27.330 Uh, not fees I put into a fund for the, I can do to increase programming so. 31 00:03:27.330 --> 00:03:33.539 I know my freshman year and like, from the engineering, I'll see. All right he took field trips with his residence. 32 00:03:33.539 --> 00:03:37.379 I'm just having a little bit of extra cash help to what the expenses that went into that. 33 00:03:41.580 --> 00:03:46.229 Awesome so North hedges is our largest building here on campus. 34 00:03:46.229 --> 00:04:00.719 On this 650 students, those students are all in double rooms. There are no single rooms in this building. This is a colored building with some collect floors kind of more of your traditional like dorm room experience. 35 00:04:00.719 --> 00:04:04.560 Tends to be a fairly vibrant, happy fund community. 36 00:04:04.560 --> 00:04:16.170 Um, it gets a lot of, like, praise in the winter, because it's directly connected to Miller dining comments and the residents really like the convenience of not having to go outside in the negative 20 degrees. 37 00:04:16.170 --> 00:04:25.858 Um, and other buildings get a little bit of jealousy over that. It also has the resident help desk. So there are some students who trickle into the building who don't live there just to get technical help. 38 00:04:25.858 --> 00:04:30.538 Um, that's kind of your 1 stop shop for any tech issues. You may be having. 39 00:04:30.538 --> 00:04:37.319 They'll also replace phone screens, which is pretty cool. And then the building also has a brand new kitchen that students can and will use. 40 00:04:37.673 --> 00:04:49.733 We have a lot of community spaces within all of the buildings specifically on our pages as well. That students can use to kind of Cook hang out together, have fun, watch a movie. It really promotes just an awesome community there. 41 00:04:50.184 --> 00:04:56.814 Yeah, and in general, how North edges is laid out like Mary to say, they are all double room seriously coming into mattresses, all that good stuff. 42 00:04:57.088 --> 00:05:05.728 They kind of split this building and the whole building is colored obviously, but then some floors would be single gender. So you have a male only floor or a female only floor. 43 00:05:05.728 --> 00:05:11.968 In addition that we do have some code forms in this building as well and most of our buildings do get to experience like, code for experience. 44 00:05:11.968 --> 00:05:23.069 By the way that we operate that with here in, is that those floors are essentially split down. The middle 1 side is mail and then 1 side is female, and they each have their own bathroom respectively. So it'd be single gender bathrooms. 45 00:05:23.069 --> 00:05:27.269 And those forms usually have 2 hours as well, just kind of help with the extra Co and environment. 46 00:05:27.269 --> 00:05:31.079 Like, when I said the kitchen is new, and it's actually it's placed on the basement here. 47 00:05:31.079 --> 00:05:38.759 We do have laundry in every single building North. I just specifically kind of in 1 of those pictures. They're all down in the basement kind of at the full table in a game room. 48 00:05:38.759 --> 00:05:47.064 As well, as now that new kitchen downstairs as well. All right, next step is South Kansas, which is North hedge of sister building. 49 00:05:47.064 --> 00:05:54.473 If you look there on the map, they're relatively close to each other really properly name after their location here on campus also built in 1965. 50 00:05:55.348 --> 00:05:59.338 South hedges is also a code building with some colored floors. 51 00:05:59.338 --> 00:06:05.548 And I hope it's a little bit less residents. The biggest reason for that is that each floor, I believe has 2 single rooms in it. 52 00:06:05.548 --> 00:06:13.559 So, you get a little bit different experience. Most people are still in 1 of those double rooms, but you still have a few that are just a single room for 1 president. 53 00:06:13.559 --> 00:06:21.899 Out of variance and earlier myself, but we do have community bathrooms here. How those usually set up it's 4 to 6 toilets and showers. 54 00:06:21.899 --> 00:06:27.959 Syncs and all that. And right now they're currently wants to twice a day. Marcus they'll approve, especially with code and everything. 55 00:06:27.959 --> 00:06:32.848 South hydrogen is really known for how many it has. So, in this building alone, you have. 56 00:06:32.848 --> 00:06:37.978 Business you have honors, you have creative arts, so kind of studio architecture majors. 57 00:06:37.978 --> 00:06:44.488 As well, as emerging leaders, so those people who may want to become more involved on campus and kind of challenge themselves their 1st year, that'd be a great option. 58 00:06:44.488 --> 00:06:51.928 You also have a sense of place, which, if you might need a bit more guidance and kind of getting connected with those men and those around you, that would also be a great option here as well. 59 00:06:51.928 --> 00:07:00.509 Bozeman is extremely popular for skied in winter sports in general. I know I spent my morning up at today and is a great. 60 00:07:00.509 --> 00:07:06.209 Uh, but within South hedges, we do offer a skew extreme so a place of residence can go kind of clean up for you and make sure everything's looking good. 61 00:07:06.209 --> 00:07:10.139 There's also a kitchen downstairs, although not as nearly as remodeled as North touches. 62 00:07:10.139 --> 00:07:24.834 And it's going to be a small exercise last link room with some, I believe there's some bites, maybe a treadmill or something. A little bit of freeways. Nothing too crazy. I was building is also attached to Miller dining comments via this cool hallway. So, when I say, well, you don't have to go outside of my speech at the residence. Really? Joy. 63 00:07:26.338 --> 00:07:33.298 Our next step is rocky. This is where I currently work and Lynn as an are I live on the 10th floor. It's a great place. I love working in the building. 64 00:07:33.298 --> 00:07:38.459 This 1 is also a code building, except these are single gender floors and looking forward to next year. 65 00:07:38.459 --> 00:07:42.209 Uh, we're looking to have 5, male floors and 5, female floors in this building. 66 00:07:42.209 --> 00:07:52.709 Rockies pretty unique, just due to the shape of it. If you look at these pictures, you can see, it's kind of has this round structure tune as well and from the top 3 circles during together by a triangle. 67 00:07:52.709 --> 00:07:56.579 And I also have very differently shaped rooms. It's kind of like a pie shape. 68 00:07:56.579 --> 00:08:01.108 Really what all this boils down to why this is, is that each floor has 3 different pods. 69 00:08:01.108 --> 00:08:12.209 Each pod has 8 rooms, and they kind of open into this common shared area in the middle. So the resident here, you to know their neighbors and their extremely well, and they develop really strong communities here. 70 00:08:12.209 --> 00:08:16.108 And it is a relatively social building these from my viewpoint. 71 00:08:16.108 --> 00:08:25.288 In a given year, some building, some pods are going to be a bit more social than others and some pods. They only hang out with each other and they just have to build great friendships. So it's kind of cool to see how that works. 72 00:08:25.288 --> 00:08:29.038 And I will just about 400 students as well. This 1 also has community bathrooms. 73 00:08:29.038 --> 00:08:34.528 Some of amenities here is that you do have a skew extra room as well. Then there is a community kitchen downstairs. 74 00:08:34.528 --> 00:08:40.889 In addition to that there is a game club has a pool table, and usually a ping pong tables and TVs a piano stuff like that. 75 00:08:40.889 --> 00:08:47.609 And we also have a study pod essentially, which has has some larger tables space to sprawl after getting some late night homework done. But. 76 00:08:47.609 --> 00:09:00.028 Uh, probably 1 of our more popular buildings here on campus I really social and just a great place to work. I, I really enjoy it all. It's also really close to outdoor rec, which is a very inexpensive place to rent outdoor equipment. 77 00:09:00.028 --> 00:09:14.994 Um, that students tend to love. So that's a really nice feature of the building, is that it's super close to that. And a lot of the students here, at least in my experience tend to be a little bit more outdoorsy and kind of end of that stuff. So, they definitely take advantage of that. Yeah, I totally agree with that. 78 00:09:14.994 --> 00:09:25.073 I know there's a lot of residence as you're in the ground throughout the building, you're walking through their skis everywhere. Hopefully it's organized. Sometimes it's all sprawled out, but for the most part, it's just laying up on the walls. They're hanging out with each other. 79 00:09:25.379 --> 00:09:37.614 I see a lot of guys, they're always going to Bridget altogether. I'm sure they go to class and everything, but I really see them to go skiing. And also, another caveat just didn't honor killings in general, is that for the most part, they're all extremely close to our dining halls. 80 00:09:37.614 --> 00:09:41.004 You're never more than, I would say, 2 to 3 minutes from a dining hall. 81 00:09:41.249 --> 00:09:50.519 So, if you look on them up, obviously North and South, they're attached. But Ross is really not all that far. I think it takes me a minute and a half maybe 2 to get from the front door for you to the front door. Miller. 82 00:09:51.658 --> 00:10:05.038 The next step is length, I'm just going. This is our only full mail building here on campus. I not only did Mary and I both work your freshman year, but I also got to live in this building. 83 00:10:05.038 --> 00:10:10.708 It's truly 1 of the highlights of living on campus from that. I met some of my best friends in this building. We had a great year. 84 00:10:10.708 --> 00:10:17.639 All those building was built in 1960 and recently got renovated in 2012. so, as you come in blanket, I was kind of a new modern feel to it. 85 00:10:17.639 --> 00:10:32.453 Uh, somewhat updated if you will, we'll just over 400 students. Like I said, it is a fully male building. Most of these buildings are start most of these rooms and here are all double rooms. So the resident and a roommate, and we do have a handful of triple rooms as well I believe very select amount though. 86 00:10:32.969 --> 00:10:45.479 Security bathroom is going on in this building for me kind of well, thanks link for special. 1st and foremost. I think their weight room was pretty well stocked and they're kind of known for that. So it's a full squat rack, free weights bikes. 87 00:10:45.479 --> 00:10:52.259 Lots of space to spread out. There's a treadmill down there now. So of the guys there, this is 1 of our farther buildings from the gym. 88 00:10:52.259 --> 00:10:57.418 The guys are able to kind of go downstairs to sees that Jim there, I'll have to walk across campus, which is a great feature. 89 00:10:57.418 --> 00:11:05.308 Also, there is the Jim Bridger theater, which is kind of like a movie room, it projects on to the wall so a great place for residents to use, and they can check out the key there and go use it. 90 00:11:05.308 --> 00:11:15.028 Uh, maybe that's whatever they may want to do in their plate. X box was also a record that they're actually renovating currently this year, kind of updating some of the games in there and making it look a little bit better. 91 00:11:15.028 --> 00:11:19.259 Has a full table foosball, Eric, hockey shuffle board lots of TV spaces. 92 00:11:19.259 --> 00:11:22.889 They kind of call it the den of the floor and now it's a really great place. 93 00:11:22.889 --> 00:11:30.269 Also has a skew extreme down in the basement. Nice little feature to have. Lankford is right across from Rodney, though so it's nothing close for our residents here. 94 00:11:30.269 --> 00:11:35.849 I'd say it's maybe 45 seconds to fast. You want to walk to get from the front door blank from Toronto. 95 00:11:35.849 --> 00:11:40.469 Very nice and close so I'm building I always recommend to people that are looking to live on campus. 96 00:11:40.469 --> 00:11:50.849 Sweet well, moving on to a building that I have a little bit more expertise about is the Johnstone center. John stone is 1 of our more eclectic buildings here on campus. 97 00:11:50.849 --> 00:11:59.818 It has a very wide variety of people who live here. So, as you can see it splitting by the wings on the presentation the is predominantly freshmen. 98 00:11:59.818 --> 00:12:12.803 Um, it's a really fun part of the building, because it does offer that kind of traditional dorm field. It's covered. It's separated by floor. I have community bathrooms, it houses about 140 of the students who live in the building. 99 00:12:12.803 --> 00:12:17.514 This is the 1 wing of the building that does not have syncs in the room. 100 00:12:18.269 --> 00:12:23.219 There's a lot of people who don't know that when they get there. So they definitely will ask about that on Monday. 101 00:12:23.219 --> 00:12:26.729 And then the other 2 things at the building prior and culture. 102 00:12:26.729 --> 00:12:32.698 Um, are predominantly our older students, so, 21 off sophomore above and. 103 00:12:32.698 --> 00:12:47.063 Traditionally, our international students, hopefully, we'll have a few more of those this upcoming year. It's also a collide building, separated by floor and with almost 260 students in it, give or take. There's a lot of large single rooms and some double rooms there. 104 00:12:48.178 --> 00:12:53.458 Uh, these rooms are carpeted and they have syncs. So they're kind of a really nice place to be. 105 00:12:53.458 --> 00:12:57.208 What's funny about this building is tends to be the. 106 00:12:57.208 --> 00:13:02.489 A little rowdy or a little bit more fun and then prior and culture tends to be fairly quiet. 107 00:13:02.489 --> 00:13:12.658 Um, not too quiet, but definitely a little bit more low key. Just kind of a place that people hang out. They do study a little bit, but they kind of keeps themselves. 108 00:13:12.658 --> 00:13:18.178 Yeah, it's the most notable thing I would say about this is just how diverse the community is. 109 00:13:18.178 --> 00:13:22.798 Which makes it like, a really fun place to live and a really fun place to work. 110 00:13:22.798 --> 00:13:37.168 Yeah, from an outside perspective, I've always heard of the mole and basement of being a pretty active community. I think a challenge with Johnson at times is that people they're like placed in Johnstone. They're like, oh, what is this building or where am I going. 111 00:13:37.168 --> 00:13:49.139 So, I think working with these residents of just kind of assured that they're supposed to be there that they're gonna have a great year. I think that's probably the biggest task, but at least the freshmen wing of it, but that's just from my outside perspective. Although yeah. It's definitely. 112 00:13:49.139 --> 00:13:57.114 The building kind of, I don't want to say it gets a bad rap, but it definitely does not get as much love as I think it deserves. It's a really fun community. 113 00:13:57.114 --> 00:14:10.734 The people who live there do tend to get pretty close with the other people on their floor and the staff always brings a lot of energy, which really helps bring people together and make it kind of a fun place to live. It is a little bit. 114 00:14:11.514 --> 00:14:25.224 Like, a lot of people don't know where it is, but once residents find out where it is, you often find them coming back to the building to hang out and have fun. So, I think it's 1 of those communities with kind of a hidden Jan, even though. It doesn't necessarily look like it from the outside. 115 00:14:25.254 --> 00:14:38.484 Yeah, and it's right next to waiting for it. So, once you figure it out it's nice and close also. Right across from Monica as well. I think this is a great example of a building that maybe it wasn't your 1st choice of placement. Once you get placed there. I think it'll work out there that you think something that we'd like to residence as well. 116 00:14:39.839 --> 00:14:52.913 Another call I know a lot about I currently live and work in happier hall, which is 1 of our female only halls it houses about 300 students. It's got community bathrooms, but it also has syncs in the rooms, which is really convenient. 117 00:14:52.913 --> 00:14:58.104 Our residents tend to really enjoy that. Another thing about these rooms is they have tons of storage. 118 00:14:58.918 --> 00:15:09.894 Lots of shelves, lots of drawers places to put everything. So our residents tend to be pretty excited about what all is available to them in their rooms. They're a very nice place to live. 119 00:15:10.553 --> 00:15:22.553 This building was also remodeled in 2012 when Lankford was remodelled, their lobbies look eerily similar, but that's about where the similarity stop. This building is pretty nice. It's got ski lockers that students can met downstairs. 120 00:15:24.028 --> 00:15:27.989 Um, which are residents absolutely take advantage of and love. 121 00:15:29.453 --> 00:15:42.714 This community tends to be it's 1 of our mellow communities, it's not quite loud, but it's not quite quiet somewhere in the middle. Some floors have a lot of very active, very outgoing students. Our whole council has been amazing this year. 122 00:15:43.134 --> 00:15:45.774 They've put in a lot of work to the events that they've put on. 123 00:15:46.078 --> 00:16:00.149 Um, we just did a half an hour Olympics that was really fun and a lot of our residents participated so we tend to have a fairly active and engaged community, but at the same time, it also doesn't have a ton of conduct that happens in the building. 124 00:16:00.149 --> 00:16:03.749 Um, so it has a lot of fun attached to it. 125 00:16:03.749 --> 00:16:09.899 Yep, it's something that I know about happiness and the outside is at friends that live their French News Radio Hangout as. 126 00:16:09.899 --> 00:16:24.899 The office space was great in this building you have the fireplace has a great view. Does feel relatively new do you normally ski walkers in this 50 ski lockers in Javier hall? Which is funny, because I don't know that they all get felt just because of the amount of available storage in your room. 127 00:16:24.899 --> 00:16:30.418 Um, but, yeah, people do tend to take advantage of the Steve offers. Yeah, and we'll talk about those a bit more later too, and some other buildings. 128 00:16:31.438 --> 00:16:44.458 A 3rd building a lot about I lived in hand in hall my freshman year. This is our other females only dorm here on campus. It's very similar to Hafner. As far as the rooms are concerned they also have syncs in the rooms. 129 00:16:44.458 --> 00:16:49.739 Less storage and shelving and stuff, but a lot more open space. 130 00:16:50.484 --> 00:17:05.034 These rooms are really interesting, because students used to be allowed to paint them themselves. So every room is different and unique and kind of fun. I know that I remain I had going stars on our ceiling that we actually thought were really awesome. We had a lot of fun living there. 131 00:17:05.693 --> 00:17:18.773 This building is very, very quiet. A lot of the students who live here, come home, they study they watch movies, but they kind of keep to themselves. They're a little bit quieter. This building also has floor lounges with little kitchenette, send them. 132 00:17:19.314 --> 00:17:27.683 So the most social that you'll see, are people often making dinner together or, like, baking something together and then staying in the lunch to watch a movie or something? 133 00:17:27.959 --> 00:17:31.709 Um, but for the most part, this building is pretty quiet, pretty low key. 134 00:17:31.709 --> 00:17:37.858 Um, a lot of like, nursing students and people who really want to just show up and study. 135 00:17:37.858 --> 00:17:44.878 Yeah, I'd say it's really kind of flies under the radar at times. It's kind of tucked back in the part of campus that hasn't seen all the time. 136 00:17:44.878 --> 00:17:49.348 I was like I said, it's kind of more of a low key, pretty chill environment. 137 00:17:49.348 --> 00:17:55.648 Our next step is declawed, and just for the sake of how our opinions laid out, we usually connect Hannon and the clots. 138 00:17:55.648 --> 00:18:10.019 So, usually, that typical staff, you would say, like, oh, I worked in hand and the quads. Right? So, it's 1 conglomerate staff. So, this is an example that we counted as 1 community, but it's made up Hannah and it's also about the closet just 3 separate buildings. So essentially, 4 separate buildings. 139 00:18:10.019 --> 00:18:22.344 Come together to form 1 community, but they are separate buildings, but I still included. So, and then when they're doing rounds, they would essentially go through the clause as well. And they're also responsible for that building and the, they'd be part of the hand and staff. 140 00:18:22.794 --> 00:18:30.923 The resident director, the community director of hand, and then oversee the quad staff as well. I've anyways about the costs. Now this is our honor's college housing. 141 00:18:31.169 --> 00:18:43.378 You know, who's got 130 students, and it's a coding environment as well. It's also our oldest residence halls here on campus. Really? In my opinion, probably 1 of the more beautiful buildings here on campus, I loved them break. Especially when it gets snowing in the winter. They look great. 142 00:18:43.378 --> 00:18:56.338 The way these are set up is that each plot essentially holds 24 residents and 1 hour a, and it's kind of set up, like, living in 1, large house and that there is a community kitchen in the 1st level. And there's a dining room, usually a living room. 143 00:18:56.338 --> 00:19:01.108 As you can see some of these pictures here, then the residents are able to kind of go to their own room with their roommates. 144 00:19:01.108 --> 00:19:10.949 Um, I kind of skip to their own space as well. Here. You also have community bathrooms here so it's kind of living in a house with 23 of your closest friends and, like, 1 person has to oversee all of, you. 145 00:19:10.949 --> 00:19:16.499 Uh, they developed great communities here. Great friendships. I know everyone gets each other on the call because you're in and out. 146 00:19:16.499 --> 00:19:21.328 Also with this, it is 1 of our older ones this 1 does not have a cat card access. 147 00:19:21.328 --> 00:19:31.949 Most of our buildings that department, our way that our residents get into something and swipe their student ID and unlock the door. This one's all key access. It's just a little bit different, but still adheres to our safety and security. 148 00:19:31.949 --> 00:19:46.523 Um, guidelines here, unless you but, yeah, like I started is this combined, so that's just 1 thing to consider is that this is kind of connected with him as well and 1 of the cool things that I know about the clots is I've never met a single person who has linked in the clubs who didn't love it. 149 00:19:47.304 --> 00:19:51.114 They always get so excited to talk about their experience in the quads. 150 00:19:51.328 --> 00:20:02.723 Which I think is really cool not that. I've really heard that many negative experiences about other buildings but this is 1 that people just like glow about and the students are genuinely excited to be there and, like, love that community. 151 00:20:02.844 --> 00:20:08.544 And I feel like you, you feel that coming from their staff too. I've never personally lived in the quads. 152 00:20:08.788 --> 00:20:12.659 And I don't really have any friends in the clubs when I looked in Hannan. But, um. 153 00:20:12.659 --> 00:20:16.169 The people who hang out there tend to have a lot of fun and. 154 00:20:16.169 --> 00:20:25.648 They, they just get so excited about that and that kind of comes back to you. So, I think that that's really cool. Yeah. And I think to to piggyback off that, I think is also love getting placed here. I. 155 00:20:25.648 --> 00:20:29.249 It's probably 1 of our more requested abilities in terms of placement for. 156 00:20:29.249 --> 00:20:33.388 On there is some perks that the Irene does have its own separate bathroom and nice closet. 157 00:20:33.388 --> 00:20:41.098 But I think even more so than that, is that, you know, you get a great community here and you have a smaller amount of presence. You're really able to build those really awesome connections with. 158 00:20:41.098 --> 00:20:50.189 So this is overall a great place to live and I would even say that sometimes the clause kind of gets forgotten about it kind of gets tucked away too, along with Hannah, but another great option of living here on campus. 159 00:20:50.189 --> 00:20:58.739 All right, next up is Yellowstone hall. I worked in this building last year as a resident advisor up until cobit hit and then everything fell apart. 160 00:20:58.739 --> 00:21:06.989 But up until then, this was a great building to live in. We had awesome residents, and I loved my staff in that building. We said great events just overall a great atmosphere in the building. 161 00:21:06.989 --> 00:21:12.269 This is 1 of our newest buildings. I was finished in 2016, so since 5th year of operation here. 162 00:21:12.269 --> 00:21:20.909 It was about 400 students. I know that Yellowstone is set up where there's 4 floors to the building on each floor, except the 1st floor has 3 different ways. So. 163 00:21:20.909 --> 00:21:34.348 I was on the 4th floor, and there's 2 other on that floor. 1 per Wayne. I had a mailing obviously and then my Co worker, Ethan, he had another mailing and our Co worker staff. She had a female link. So you still get a great code environment of the whole building and your floor. 164 00:21:34.348 --> 00:21:39.989 But they are able to kind of go back to your way and you have your own set bathrooms you kind of have all the guys that, you know, you're living with, in your community. 165 00:21:39.989 --> 00:21:45.838 So, there's a really good mix. I think that separation of philosophy and kind of able to go back to your, your safe sound if you will. 166 00:21:45.838 --> 00:21:50.909 Like I said, there are community bathrooms here for the most part there's 2 per waiting actually. 167 00:21:50.909 --> 00:21:55.618 In addition to that, we also offer a semi suites within Yellowstone, which is unique to the building. 168 00:21:55.618 --> 00:21:59.398 It is to double room, joined together by a shared bathroom a little entry way. 169 00:21:59.398 --> 00:22:03.088 ali's kind of are these semi suites style set up. 170 00:22:03.088 --> 00:22:14.338 That's a great way. If someone maybe has 3 other people, they want to look like, they can request 1 of these spaces or just if you want to get some of your neighbors and a bit more intimate setting. Usually, suite means that you hang out a little bit more. And I get no child. I'm pretty good basis. 171 00:22:14.338 --> 00:22:21.778 And different out the custodial still come to clean those bathrooms once a week. I believe just so that it's not on the student's responsibility as well. I think stain. 172 00:22:21.778 --> 00:22:26.548 Of captain tidy billing does not lead gold certification for environmental. 173 00:22:26.548 --> 00:22:34.499 Uh, regulations, so only the lighting in the building, it's on automatic timers so there's no motion checked and it turns off low flow water fixtures. 174 00:22:34.499 --> 00:22:38.519 Uh, very well insulated and heated so very energy efficient as well. 175 00:22:38.519 --> 00:22:47.128 Like I said, there was semi sweet living options here as well as double rooms and single rooms, but the most part this building does have double rooms. That's what most gents get to experience. 176 00:22:47.128 --> 00:22:53.308 And also, and Yellowstone, we also have other skill offers available down in the 1st floor. There's another 50 in this building. 177 00:22:53.308 --> 00:22:57.118 Um, something about the different about partners that these ones are extremely popular. 178 00:22:57.118 --> 00:23:03.298 I want to get 1 when I moved into the building that's all right. And I went online that's how we distribute them. 179 00:23:03.804 --> 00:23:18.503 75 dollars for the year by the way and as I logged on, I was going to be great idea. Well, they sold out about a month and a half flap. So very quickly. I learned I was not going to get a ski locker, which is totally fine. I have enough space for and you get creative before you put things in your room is very active community tours wise as well. 180 00:23:19.169 --> 00:23:31.348 Yellowstone is probably 1 of our top 2 buildings in terms of requesting and preference is so it's always full a very, very active, vibrant community. They like to hang out with each other. So it's very true. Fresh and experience. 181 00:23:31.348 --> 00:23:40.469 For the most part of this platform in this building as well in addition to that you have covered and locked bike storage in this building. So it's a separate room outside that residents who bikes them they can swipe in. 182 00:23:40.469 --> 00:23:43.558 So, they have a nicer bike, they can store it in there and keep it locked up and everything but. 183 00:23:43.558 --> 00:23:56.574 The rebellion 11. great experience for myself. Sweet. Well, I'll talk about highlight hall. This building just opened this year. So it's brand new. It's beautiful. It has about 510 students so it's a fairly decent sized building. 184 00:23:56.574 --> 00:24:03.324 It has community and gender, inclusive bathrooms, which is kind of a nice little feature working more towards our inclusivity initiatives. 185 00:24:05.634 --> 00:24:19.943 This is mostly freshman housing, so it tends to have a lot of excitement and fun and people trying to meet each other, which is awesome. Because this building was built around kind of connectivity and trying to get people to talk to 1 another, which is really, really fun. 186 00:24:19.943 --> 00:24:24.834 And 1 of the best ways that they've done that is by making the lounge is kind of bleed into 1 another. 187 00:24:25.078 --> 00:24:35.788 And since the way the building is constructed, kind of helps people see other people around, they start to meet each other. They start to talk to people outside of their floor and all around the building. 188 00:24:35.788 --> 00:24:49.374 Uh, which is really cool to see students walking past with people that you never knew they were going to meet, which is awesome. It's a really cool opportunity as a freshman. There's also lots of multi purpose space throughout the building. 189 00:24:49.733 --> 00:25:04.253 Some of that is a large multi purpose room. Other things are little study cubicles that are built into launch spaces throughout the building. So it's really cool. Very beautiful building. Very awesome. 1 of the perks. This is the building with air conditioning in the main hallway areas. 190 00:25:05.124 --> 00:25:17.453 Even though the air conditioning is not required in Montana. It doesn't stay Super warm for that long. It is a very convenient thing for about the 1st, month of school. So you would have that you get placed in this community. 191 00:25:18.659 --> 00:25:24.419 There are also those secure ski walkers in this building. I would assume that they sold fairly quickly. 192 00:25:24.834 --> 00:25:38.753 There's also some of that limited covered and locked bike storage, which is pretty popular amongst our students just because Montana weather gets a little rough and it really is nice to have your bike locked away. Yeah, and we also lost bikes. That's something that they choose to do. 193 00:25:39.653 --> 00:25:51.624 I would say this is probably our most popular building just due to how notice I'm thinking the top 3 buildings that are requested are preferred by residence and probably highlight yellow stone and rocky talk through some of your more popular billing. 194 00:25:51.624 --> 00:25:55.163 They usually hold a bit higher occupancy or stateful for most of the year. 195 00:25:56.818 --> 00:26:11.634 And they step as the headwaters complex, and most of this is reserved for returning students. So, sophomore and above living options and that would be gallons and hall and Jefferson hall. So, sweet style setup. So some people will have a shared space and you kind of be the bathroom that's shared and maybe it's not living area. 196 00:26:11.939 --> 00:26:15.568 Then they're able to go back to their own room. Some people have to remain in the setup. 197 00:26:15.568 --> 00:26:23.818 But it's just a little bit more intimate of us settings. So people who have already met people their freshman year, they can choose to live here and it's just an environment that works well for them. 198 00:26:23.818 --> 00:26:26.969 And although it's total holds about 200 residents. 199 00:26:26.969 --> 00:26:35.669 Like I said, it is kind of sweet style set up. So you do have a private bathroom with you and your sweet mates. But because everything will still come to clean that bathroom for you, I believe once a week. 200 00:26:35.669 --> 00:26:41.848 Dalton halls and newest out of these 3 and I was constructed in 2013 and this one's also lead gold certified along with Yellowstone. 201 00:26:41.848 --> 00:26:53.693 And for the most part, these are all Co, Ed, in addition to that Madison is our vendor housing option and kind of our inclusive housing option and the to work really closely with our diversity and inclusion student Commons partners on campus to kind of help the residents. 202 00:26:53.693 --> 00:27:00.443 Get captive venue resources that they might need help them feel extra. Welcome here in Montana State, and make sure that they are successful and they're having a good time. 203 00:27:02.548 --> 00:27:16.739 And also just sorry to advance and then go back headquarters complex. We, Brent, we connect with North hedges so North edges and headwaters complex it's 1 community. So the community director of North hedges would oversee the headquarters complex. 204 00:27:16.739 --> 00:27:21.239 So, that community combined is about 90,950 residents. 205 00:27:21.239 --> 00:27:25.558 So, it is our learning suite here on campus has 1 of the larger staffs as well. 206 00:27:26.243 --> 00:27:36.233 Well, we care a lot about safety and security here on campus. We want our residents to feel safe and we want them to be safe. And 1 of the ways we do that is we restrict access to buildings. 207 00:27:36.804 --> 00:27:47.634 So, if you don't live in the building, you can't just swiping with your cat card, which is really nice because it kind of helps us understand, who's in the building on top of that guest have to check in between 10 PM and 70 am. 208 00:27:47.634 --> 00:27:56.513 So, again, we know who's in the building and what's going on just in case there's any mischief anywhere or heaven forbid a fire or something that we need to know who's in the building. 209 00:27:57.209 --> 00:28:09.659 Um, that being said guests are allowed as long as they're accompanied by a resident at all times in the buildings, we love having people being able to go to different buildings and hang out and meet lots of new people. 210 00:28:09.659 --> 00:28:13.679 Unfortunately, this year with cobit, we had to spend our guest policy. 211 00:28:13.679 --> 00:28:28.253 Um, but we're hoping to have it back next year and give people that so, social opportunity, because it's a lot of fun. We also have 24 hour on call staff. So, during the day that's often a community director and a program coordinator, and at night, that would be some. 212 00:28:29.338 --> 00:28:39.479 And some senior staff members, so it could also still be a community director, but yeah, we have on call staff just in case things go wrong. 213 00:28:39.479 --> 00:28:54.233 You know, somebody he's heard, needs help or anything else that can happen there and then yeah, as staff members were fully trained to deal with situations. And if the are, I can't do that. They call up if the community director needs help, they can call a director on call. 214 00:28:54.509 --> 00:28:59.548 Um, so there's always support, there's always help and it really just adds to. 215 00:28:59.548 --> 00:29:13.979 The safety of the building, and the feeling of safety in the building. Yeah. I think now probably be a good time to kind of talk about our structure and how we do staffing in the building. So every single building will have a community director, and they kind of oversee overall building operations as well supervise the R a staff. 216 00:29:13.979 --> 00:29:22.888 Addition that each going to have a program coordinator, and they're responsible for managing the front desk as well as placing people and rooms and kind of managing bookings throughout the whole building. 217 00:29:22.888 --> 00:29:36.868 Next up, I would say desk clerk's play pretty important role. They are at our desks 24 7 as well. So there's always a desk clerk staff as well as either a PC, a program coordinator or a half, but Democratic as well. So, there's always someone at the front desk to kind of man the building as well. 218 00:29:36.868 --> 00:29:43.409 They kind of carry on our admin activities, logging mail and I have a lot of experience on email and working in this capacity. 219 00:29:43.409 --> 00:29:49.949 And they're also kind of like that 1st exposure that residence come in. You always see the desk clerk you kind of provide a welcome environment as well. 220 00:29:49.949 --> 00:29:55.288 Um, they also are responsible for checking in people after 10 PM. That's something that we require of the desk. 221 00:29:55.288 --> 00:30:07.229 And then with the, like Mary's saying we are on call in the evening as well as the weekends. So there is usually 2 per 1Million. So, 2 on call raise and their response we're doing rounds to kind of just make sure everything's going smoothly into building. Not nothing is glaring. 222 00:30:07.229 --> 00:30:18.929 Has always responded. I think that they might be called for past that we do have senior staff, and they're kind of a supervisor to call if the find a situation that they might need some more direction on, or they need someone higher up to respond to it as well. 223 00:30:18.929 --> 00:30:30.028 Uh, those for the most part are going to be our community directors in addition to that each building will have an assistant resident director. So an R. D. so it's kind of a mix between an R. A. and that's community director. They are students as well. 224 00:30:30.028 --> 00:30:44.844 I like marrying myself, they also serve enough senior staff capacity as well. I hit all the points on it. Yeah, I think you hit. And then there are directors on call as well, which are people just a little bit higher up the food chain that you can call just in case. 225 00:30:44.844 --> 00:30:56.903 Something goes wrong. Or, if there's a really weird circumstance that you've never anticipated, which unfortunately do pop up from time to time. But they usually lead to some pretty interesting events and evenings and future stories to tell. 226 00:30:57.683 --> 00:31:02.272 So, at the end of the day, there's always help. There's always a security network. 227 00:31:02.548 --> 00:31:12.959 Um, and are always people around, so that's always a really nice feature to have. Yeah, it's a structure that, in my opinion, has worked very well and kind of make sure that everything is being dealt with in the right man. Absolutely. 228 00:31:14.219 --> 00:31:17.759 Right, so next step is the resident help desk our essential network. 229 00:31:17.759 --> 00:31:27.449 This is a service that's actually located within North hedges. It is free to all of our students around campus. It's also open 6 days a week. I believe it's Monday through Saturday and Sunday they're closed. 230 00:31:27.683 --> 00:31:31.884 This is a great place if you need help with your computers and getting a hardware and or software, 231 00:31:31.884 --> 00:31:32.903 put on your computer, 232 00:31:33.084 --> 00:31:35.634 mostly software issues or if you do have a WI, 233 00:31:35.634 --> 00:31:37.074 fi issues or wired Internet, 234 00:31:37.253 --> 00:31:40.433 it can talk with them to kind of help troubleshoot you especially this year, 235 00:31:40.433 --> 00:31:41.874 with the amount of online classes that we had, 236 00:31:41.874 --> 00:31:45.114 I think this is a pretty well used service here on campus. 237 00:31:45.114 --> 00:31:57.473 We do offer free software to all of our students. So, most of that is you need your Microsoft Office suite and the Adobe, Creative Cloud. And this is a great place to go. If you want help, just throwing it on your computer because it is free to you and we kind of urge you to use that. If it's given to, you. 238 00:31:57.778 --> 00:32:05.788 Just to get virus protection as well as a box, which is kind of a file sharing service as well. A nice feature of the resident help desk too, is they will fix. 239 00:32:06.324 --> 00:32:18.983 Broken phone screens for you, so if you accidentally break your phone screen, that is something that they provide. I've just been asked a lot about it by other students and other staff members. It's an item on the more. You learn kind of. Cool. Yeah. 240 00:32:19.314 --> 00:32:29.604 So, moving on to another 1 of our favorite topics food, we have some really awesome dining opportunities here on campus. They work a little bit differently than some other campuses. 241 00:32:30.144 --> 00:32:42.144 It's a self it's got self operated, but also cooked to order options. They're all called concepts. Instead of just like stations usually basically the different concepts have different types of food. 242 00:32:42.233 --> 00:32:53.243 So the picture here shows forge, which is a lot more home style cooking, but depending on the dining hall, there are different opportunities to each. So, Ron has a self. 243 00:32:55.558 --> 00:33:08.453 What am I trying to say her self directed pasta program? So you can go and kind of select what topics you want on your past and they'll cook in front of you Miller has the Mongolian grill, which is really nice. 244 00:33:08.693 --> 00:33:11.364 So, we have a lot of those options as well as just like. 245 00:33:11.699 --> 00:33:24.358 Standard walk up serve, kind of like a thing students swipe in for the day, not by Neil not by points. Nothing like that. So, once you've entered the dining hall for the day, you can enter and exit as many times as you want. 246 00:33:24.358 --> 00:33:28.588 A lot of students go here to study and to eat and hang out and socialize. 247 00:33:28.588 --> 00:33:34.409 It's a great place to learn more about your staff to learn more about your community, your floor, stuff like that. 248 00:33:34.409 --> 00:33:48.328 These buildings also accommodate dietary needs pretty well they label any major allergens that might be contained in foods. Now, there's also registered registered dietician on staff who can help people navigate the dining hall. If they're having issues. 249 00:33:48.328 --> 00:34:00.598 Or if they want, like, a more balanced diet, if you're trying to figure out how to optimize your eating opportunities, they can help you with that. We also have a really cool farmed campus initiative. 250 00:34:00.598 --> 00:34:11.398 This is basically a program where we try to source a lot of our food locally and make sure that's as fresh as possible. So, we have the stair year program, and we partner with for H. 251 00:34:11.398 --> 00:34:20.309 Basically raises, I think it's 30 head of steer every year that gets used in the dining hall and then they go and they buy a lot of the pork that we have in the dining hall. 252 00:34:20.309 --> 00:34:33.838 Um, from 4, H, kids around state, which is really cool, make sure that the meat is super fresh and delicious. Also a lot of our produce is very locally sourced and then usually we do a special dinner once a year. That is Montana brown. 253 00:34:33.838 --> 00:34:40.528 That is really fresh and really awesome and shows kind of some of the cuisine that I can come from Montana resources. 254 00:34:40.528 --> 00:34:48.148 Yeah, with this local food initiative, I think something I like to highlight is that we have an all campus B farm full Apiary operation. That's just across. 255 00:34:48.148 --> 00:35:02.483 1 of the streets for campus, all of our honey for biscuits coffee may be all comes from our on campus operations as well. I'd say both guys are pretty similar in terms of a a field. They're both relatively new want to put Ron who, which we'll talk on a bet. It was built in 2018. 256 00:35:02.483 --> 00:35:03.684 Miller was in 2016. 257 00:35:04.949 --> 00:35:10.199 But they do offer similar options that you do have, like, kind of a fried food section of burgers and fries and that type of stuff. 258 00:35:10.199 --> 00:35:18.268 Kind of how good feels domino macaroni, cheese, fried, chicken and mashed potatoes like that type of food that kind of makes you think back to. 259 00:35:18.268 --> 00:35:27.748 As well, salad bars and everything sells from several machines so lots of similar options, but they also vary their menu from day to day. And you can also check your menu out online. 260 00:35:29.094 --> 00:35:41.574 So, like, I was saying, we have 2 dial operations here on campus. We have Miller dining comments, we have around to boot dining Pavilion. Miller was recently renovated in 2015, I believe, and Ron was finished in 2018. we actually got nationally recognized for having our dining services on campus. 261 00:35:43.768 --> 00:35:47.128 I believe we were right and every 1 of the nation for the size school. 262 00:35:47.128 --> 00:35:54.778 Um, I have always thought our dining operations or highlight of living on campus. Really? Truly the cherry on top of your experience of being on campus here. 263 00:35:54.778 --> 00:35:58.438 I just target is to go and hang out. Like Mary saying, that'd be a fit. 264 00:35:58.438 --> 00:36:02.278 They are open 7 a M, to 7 PM every day. 7 days a week. 265 00:36:02.278 --> 00:36:14.579 In addition to that Miller will stay open until 10 0 PM. Usually, it's just kind of accommodate re, students that might be having a later class that gets out after 7 o'clock or if you just really crave that bowl of lucky charms at 930 at night you get on and grab that. 266 00:36:14.579 --> 00:36:25.018 And like I was saying, this is all a meal plan operate, so it's not any balance or anything as many times as you would, like, during the day. So, if you want to go, you know, 6, sometimes during the day, and I'll get your bites that's totally. Okay. 267 00:36:25.018 --> 00:36:37.858 She's talking about this concept style, so there's separate stations with each time so you can make sure I always get a a good mix of food. Yeah, and just because I saw the picture there also a really cool feature of our dining halls is they have coffee shops in them. 268 00:36:37.858 --> 00:36:44.909 And they're, they're not quite a Starbucks, but they have a ton of options as far as flavors are concerned, and kinds of copies they can make. 269 00:36:44.909 --> 00:36:57.418 Which is a really cool opportunity for students to have. So, from when they open, until, I believe 2 PM, the coffee shops are open and the operating, and you can totally go downstairs and get your caffeine fix. If you need to. 270 00:36:57.418 --> 00:37:04.798 Or bulk over to the dining hall and get you caffeine fix if you need to. And those are really cool opportunities for students. 271 00:37:04.798 --> 00:37:14.009 A great place to have meetings if you need to do that, grab a coffee, sit at a table, hang out tends to be a very informal. Very fun thing to do. 272 00:37:14.009 --> 00:37:24.418 Yeah, I think these coffee shops, they really help students and a lot of mine too, because instead I'm going to Starbucks once or twice a day. Can you go to the dining hall and got coffee and salt covering their meal plan? You're not charged any extra for that as well. 273 00:37:25.889 --> 00:37:31.648 All right, so with our meal plan options, we have 2 main options here. We have the 5 Damien plan. We have the 7 day meal plan. 274 00:37:31.648 --> 00:37:35.548 The 5 day meal plan, that's going to be Monday through Friday. So your typical school week. 275 00:37:35.548 --> 00:37:38.789 And then within that, we have the bronze of the copper options. 276 00:37:38.789 --> 00:37:45.838 Uh, so they bronze off, it's just our base part. Daniel plan, the cop rational, add 150 dollars in cash cash, which I'll talk about in a 2nd here. 277 00:37:45.838 --> 00:37:51.838 The next 1 is our 7 day meal plan, which is our most popular most students being on camps for the entirety of the school year. 278 00:37:51.838 --> 00:37:55.619 Honest as you can go every day, the week, Saturday or Sunday as much as you would like. 279 00:37:55.619 --> 00:38:02.219 I'm here at the 7 day, you have a difference between the silver and gold plan. The old plan adds that 100 dollars of cash. 280 00:38:02.219 --> 00:38:11.039 So, calculus is kind of our on campus debit system works for a variety of things. 1st and foremost it is how you upgrade our laundry machines in each building. 281 00:38:11.039 --> 00:38:23.789 So, like I said earlier, all of our residence halls, we'll have laundry within them. Sometimes it's only 1 Camino laundry room. Sometimes they're spaced on every floor. It just depends. But overall they'll use cat cast to operate the launch machines here on campus. 282 00:38:23.789 --> 00:38:35.275 I believe it's 4 dollars per load 2 hours for the wash charge for the dryer and I, we both with as our, as we get our meal plan included with everyone board. I personally never go over that. I forgot to cap cash. I never depleted at all. 283 00:38:35.545 --> 00:38:39.175 In fact, at the end of the year, I usually end up buying a bunch of stats from the student union building. 284 00:38:39.449 --> 00:38:44.190 Which is another place where you can use it. So there we have our exchanging and building our student in building. 285 00:38:44.190 --> 00:38:48.989 They have a little food options there, so you go buy snacks everything your cancel work there as well. 286 00:38:48.989 --> 00:39:03.235 And just about vending machines on campus, all of them will take this cat cash or just any on campus, coffee shop. That's run by our corner services. They'll take that as well. I really like to use the unused cash at the end of the semester, and try to take my residents to coffee or something like that. 287 00:39:03.864 --> 00:39:07.375 That tends to be a lot of fun offered is prizes and stuff like that. 288 00:39:08.574 --> 00:39:22.014 Use it to get with your staff and grab coffee and have fun if you're doing, like a diad thing, or a day where you're partnered up with an R a friend to hang out with also it's a great way to do some cross campus networking be like. 289 00:39:22.014 --> 00:39:31.525 Hey, person, I don't know from Rocky, let's go. Grab some coffee tends to be a lot of fun. Great way to meet people. Also. How you operate around campus printing too. 290 00:39:32.250 --> 00:39:37.980 In our building, we have a student printing machines, and they can use their cat cash to print their that's full color as well. 291 00:39:37.980 --> 00:39:47.789 In the library, you can use cast program, you might need retail dining. We kind of covered this a little bit, but students can use their cash at retail dining. 292 00:39:47.789 --> 00:39:54.719 Um, they can also use it on concessions at the stadium and, like, field house, which is really nice for sporting events. 293 00:39:54.719 --> 00:40:01.769 Also, the sub has a lot of different concepts, kind of like the dining halls, but you do have to pay there. 294 00:40:01.769 --> 00:40:10.889 Which is different than just swiping in. Sometimes the cost differs, depending on what kinds of stuff you're picking up in the student union building. We also have 4 coffee shops across campus. 295 00:40:10.889 --> 00:40:15.179 Those are in the library, the sub norm and. 296 00:40:15.179 --> 00:40:20.670 There's another 1, but I'm not coming up with where it is a business college business college and. 297 00:40:20.670 --> 00:40:27.269 Those are great opportunities that kind of scattered fairly well across campus. So you can grab those when you're out and out. 298 00:40:27.269 --> 00:40:32.039 They're also open later than the ones in the dining hall. So if you miss getting your caffeine fixed. 299 00:40:32.039 --> 00:40:41.639 Um, after or before, 2 PM, or after 2 P. M you can go and grab it here or they also have a lot of baked goods there that are pretty I mean, that you can pick up at those places. 300 00:40:41.639 --> 00:40:56.155 Yeah, and all of our Diane on campus, whether it be through the dining hall or retail services, it's all done in house through corner services. So we don't contract out anything all continuous done in house. So we'll have campuses. We'll usually have a pen to express or somebody that I've seen on other campuses. 301 00:40:56.155 --> 00:41:06.625 We don't have that here. Everything is done through coronary services and they handle all of it. We even have a bakery in the building that's called, the indulge bakery, or also used to be the favorite. 302 00:41:06.625 --> 00:41:15.264 So, sometimes it gets called that too but that's where a lot of our baked goods come from both in the dining hall. And in these retail places, also mix the buildings not really good. Sometime. 303 00:41:15.659 --> 00:41:25.800 Yeah, and actually students can request type cakes if it's their friend's birthday or something, they can contact both bakery and they'll actually make a cake for them too, which isn't it? Well, you service but I know it exists. 304 00:41:25.800 --> 00:41:38.519 So, our offices, the central office is located underneath Miller dining hall, this just kind of houses all of our directors as well as any central operations that might happen. In addition to that. Every community director has an office within their building. 305 00:41:38.519 --> 00:41:41.519 So, they don't have to, like, come work in this building or anything like that. 306 00:41:41.519 --> 00:41:46.800 Addition that they also have an apartment, so they truly live and work in their building as most places they're set up. 307 00:41:46.800 --> 00:41:51.750 Uh, if there's any questions or anything, I'm sure you all have our contact information already, but here is everything. 308 00:41:51.750 --> 00:41:59.400 You have anything else to add? Yeah. Thanks for watching the presentation and we look forward to working with you. Yeah, have a great day.
